What a friend!

Is it possible for anything to separate you from me?
Even when you are aware that I am in the worst trouble with no hope for vindication, would you be far from me?.
Or even when there are others who are ready to love you than me, would you despise me?
Even when I am confused and it seems like all hope is lost, would you be there to comfort me.

Oh! What a friend is he, who is ready to catch me when I fall, who is there to aid me in the midst of my confusion, who despite the many “loves” that seek his attention
Yet he chooses to enjoy my every moment with him.
I love you Lord, words cannot explain how I feel about you,
Your love, your kindness, your mercies, your unconditionality, it makes me wonder and esteem you highly.

Who can compare to you Lord? There is no one on this earth that can match you.
Earthly friends have failed me, but I don’t blame them because I have failed them too.
But your love is supreme, I treasure every moment with you, Lord, I want to stay forever in your presence till my death bed.
Teach me daily to love you more and more.
